Traeger Cook - Southwest Wild Turkey Chili Dip
Whatever the name… it’s good. One of the best things about Traeger is the access to thousands of recipes on their app and online. Easily followed and easily tweaked to your liking. We saw the recipe: “Wild Turkey Southwest Egg Rolls by Jeremiah Doughty” and thought that those sounded awesome.
We always like to test a recipe (especially if we’re going to be serving a LOT of it to our customers” and tried it a few weeks ago. WE LOVED THIS ONE as a dip. We had a bag of chips and just started eating it that way vs using the egg rolls!
We quadrupled the recipe for our customer giveaway… so check out the traeger app and online for specifics.
- Leftover Turkey
- Corn
- Black Beans
- Taco Seasoning
- White Onion
- Chopped Garlic
- Minced Jalapeno Peppers
- Rotel
We cooked it all in a dutch oven on the Traeger, so the wood pellet smoked flavor doesn’t get into this recipe, but with more time, you could cook it open on the Traeger and add that to the mix as well!
What’s your favorite way to use some of the Thanksgiving Leftovers?
Stop by one of our stores in Duluth or Oakwood, and you can check out the full line of Traeger grills as we are one of the only Platinum Traeger dealers in North Georgia. If Traeger makes it, we probably sell it!
