Duluth Fall Festival – 2016 Man's Corner with Howard Brothers is gonna be a Little Different!

If you’ve been to the Duluth Fall Festival sometime over the past 7 or 8 years, and you’ve been by our area in Man’s Corner, chances are you’ve had a piece of meat off of of the 4-5 Big Green Eggs that we’ve sold. Well, that’s gonna change this year.

We’re actually not bringing Big Green Egg at all to the festival (Partly because we’re going to be with Big Green Egg at the 4th annual Kosher BBQ Competition in Dunwoody the same weekend)

But mainly because we’re gonna be conducting a little show and tell on the Traeger Wood Pellet Grills. We’re not feeding the masses like we’ve done in the past… we’re feeding the foodies.

Well, let’s not call it Show and Tell… Let’s call it Smoke and Tell!

That’s right, Man’s Corner is gonna be transformed into a cooking/culinary classroom led by the guys at Howard Brothers. We’re not expert chefs. We don’t have a Food Network show or even a large YouTube following on our food loves… but we love grills. We love cooking. We love talking about the food we cook, and in general, we just love sharing what we know with anyone willing to listen.

So. Here’s the deal. You MUST register to attend one of our classes as space will be limited. At the end of the class, you’ll be able to eat some of the food that we prepared. In addition to the cooking class, if you register and attend a class, you’ll be entered to win some prizes including a pair of tickets to the Much Better More Impressive Traeger Cooking Class that is happening at our Duluth Store on Sunday November 6th (details: http://www.traegergrills.com/shopclass) with Diva Q (who does have a tv show and knows a lot more about cooking than we do!)

Details are still being finalized, but we’ll be having 6 classes on Saturday and Sunday:

Saturday:

  • 10am – Breakfast (Blueberry French Toast Casserole + some secret goodies)
  • 12pm – Lunch (Pulled Pork Sliders + some secret goodies)
  • 2pm – Appetizers (Sweet Shrimp & Spicy Sausage Skewers + some secret goodies)
  • 4pm – Early Dinner (Longhorn Cowboy Tri-Tip + some secret goodies)

Sunday:

  • 1pm – Lunch (Pulled Pork Sliders + some secret goodies)
  • 3pm – Early afternoon (Longhorn Cowboy Tri-Tip + some secret goodies)

I’m pretty sure that there will be some other opportunities to taste test.

We’re gonna be under a tent, you’ll have a place to sit and enjoy. It will be a conversational class and we and our representatives from Traeger will be on hand to answer any questions.

So, you have to come by and register. Stop by Man’s Corner (on your way to the Football TV Tent with the Georgia/Ole Miss game, and learn a little about food at the same time.
